Custom Button Manufacturing — Your Logo, Your Spec

We develop custom garment buttons from a logo file, dimensioned drawing, tech pack or physical reference. Specify the material, size, colour target, finish, logo method, quantity and approval criteria; we then confirm feasibility, sampling route, MOQ, tooling, lead time and quotation for that exact combination.

OEM and ODM button product series — plastic, snap, metal, jeans and natural buttons

What we customize

Five levers, infinite combinations

Custom logo buttons and metal logo plates with engraved and embossed branding

Logo & branding

Laser engraving, embossed or debossed tooling, pad printing, enamel fill and epoxy dome options are reviewed against the chosen material, artwork detail and order plan. For a separate permanent brand plate, compare our custom metal clothing labels and garment tags.

Button, zipper and drawcord color matching board for dye-to-match development

Color (DTM)

Develop colour from a Pantone reference or physical swatch, then approve the actual sample because resin, natural material, plating and surface finish can change the visual result.

Assorted buttons and metal accessories showing different materials and finish options

Material & finish

Polyester resin, zinc alloy, brass, corozo, horn, wood; pearl, matte, antique, plated, oxidized, two-tone finishes.

Custom button shapes and sizes displayed with a caliper for dimension control

Shape & size

Specify round, square, flower, toggle, shank or another profile in millimetres or ligne. A dimensioned drawing, CAD file or physical sample helps define thickness, holes and shank geometry.

Custom button packing options including retail cards, bags, labeled kits and gift boxes

Packing & labeling

Bulk bags, carded retail packs, private-label boxes, size-sorted kits for your production line.

Button quality control, dimensional inspection and compliance testing setup

Compliance & testing

Material, plating and testing requirements are reviewed against your garment application, destination market and retailer standard before production.

Development route

Custom button development, step by step

1. RFQ review

Send artwork, dimensions, material preference, colour target, quantity and application. We identify missing inputs before quoting.

2. Specification confirmation

Logo method, finish, tolerances, packing, testing scope and approval standard are recorded for a like-for-like quotation.

3. Tooling and sample route

Where tooling or colour development is required, the route and cost are confirmed before work starts. Physical samples are submitted for approval.

4. Bulk production

Production starts against the approved sample and written specification, with agreed in-process and pre-shipment checks.

5. Packing and delivery

Parts are packed as loose bulk, sorted kits or retail-ready units, then shipped by the method confirmed in the order.

What to include in your RFQ

The more of these you send, the faster and tighter the quote:

  • Size — in mm or ligne (L). Not sure? See our ligne size chart.
  • Material — resin, metal, corozo/horn, or "recommend for me" with the garment type.
  • Logo file — AI/EPS/PDF vector preferred; a clear photo works for quoting.
  • Quantity — per color/size, plus expected annual volume for better tiered pricing.
  • Color target — Pantone code or a fabric swatch you can mail/photograph.
  • Compliance needs — destination market (EU/US/JP) and any testing standards.

Mold & tooling policy

Embossed or debossed logo work may require a dedicated mold; laser engraving can be used without a molded logo tool on suitable materials. The quotation confirms whether tooling is needed, the tooling charge, ownership, storage period and reorder conditions before development begins.

Budgeting a custom programme

How custom button quotations differ by product line

There is no single customisation surcharge. Base material, component count, dimensions, finish, logo method, colour count, packing and quantity all affect the quote. Compare suppliers against the same written specification.

Before you send the RFQ

Custom button questions we answer daily

What is the minimum order for a custom button?

MOQ is confirmed for the exact combination of material, size, colour, finish and logo process. Stock and custom routes differ, so send the required quantity for each colour and size.

Does a custom logo button need a mold?

Embossed or debossed logo work may require a dedicated mold. Laser engraving can avoid a molded logo tool on suitable materials, but feasibility, tooling ownership, storage and cost are confirmed after artwork review.

Can you match a Pantone colour reference?

We can develop colour from a Pantone reference or a physical swatch. Because substrate and finish affect appearance, the approval standard is the agreed physical sample rather than the reference number alone.

What custom button sizes and shapes can you develop?

Round buttons and custom shapes can be developed from a dimensioned drawing, CAD file or physical sample. Specify dimensions in millimetres or ligne and include hole, shank and thickness requirements.

How long does custom button production take?

Lead time is confirmed in the quotation after artwork, material, tooling, sampling route, quantity and current capacity are reviewed. Bulk production starts after the approved sample and specification are recorded.

What compliance documents can you supply?

Tell us the material, garment application, destination market and retailer standard. We confirm the required material declarations, plating restrictions, needle-detection scope and third-party testing options before production.

MOQ, tooling, sampling, testing scope and lead time are confirmed for the exact material, size, colour, finish, logo and quantity.
